ALTERATION WORKSHOP - DECEMBER 7th 12-3PM

40.00

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7th; 12:00 - 3:00PM ~ 2711 Troost Ave. KCMO 64109

This is a beginner to moderate level course designed for anyone interested in altering, tailoring or repairing their own pants. To get the most out of this class, it’s recommended that you have a basic understanding of the home sewing machine.

In this class we will walk though some of the most common clothing alterations and learn the skills to modify or repair your own clothing, specifically pants/jeans.  These skills can help you adjust or repair the clothing you already own, and provide you with the freedom to better shop vintage, thrift or second hand.

Students should bring up to 3 pairs of pants they would like to learn how to alter; hem jeans and keep the original hem, alter waist bands with darts or back of pants with contour darts, tapering and more.

Please make sure the clothing is larger and needs to be taken in.

After you register online you will receive an email with basic supplies we recommend to have during the workshop, however many items will be supplied.
